Post-Training Follow-Up — First Workplace Application
Adapt before sharing: name the training, follow-up period, who will read responses, and how they will be used. This questionnaire explores a real opportunity to apply learning, including when none arose. Answers describe reported experiences; they do not establish that training caused an outcome. Do not share personal or sensitive data, or confidential information about any person or your organization, even without naming them. If a question does not fit your situation, say so rather than inventing an experience.
Preview of the questions only.
- Since the training, have you encountered a situation where you could have used what was covered? Describe that situation, or state that no opportunity arose.
- In that situation, what did you try to do? If you did not try or no opportunity arose, say so.
- If you tried, what happened next, based on what you personally observed? If you did not try or do not yet know, say so.
- What helped with that attempt, if anything? You may state that no attempt took place.
- What limited or prevented an attempt, if anything? Distinguish having no opportunity from a difficulty encountered during an attempt. You may state that you encountered no obstacle.
- What support would you need for a next attempt? You may state that no additional support is needed.
- What next step would be realistic in your situation? If none is defined yet or the objective is no longer relevant, say so.
