Workload Review Questionnaire

Collect examples of planned and completed work, interruptions, and trade-offs over a defined period. Use responses to prepare a team discussion, not to assess health or assign a workload score. Use responses for the stated purpose and do not include personal or confidential information.

Preview of the questions only.

  1. Which period and work do you want to review?
  2. What did you plan to complete during this period, and what did you complete or leave in progress?
  3. Were there requests, interruptions, or unplanned tasks that changed the planned work? If so, give an example; otherwise, say that there were none.
  4. Did competing requests arise during this period? If so, how were priorities decided? If not, say so.
  5. What coordination, checking, or handover work took time without appearing in the initial plan? If nothing comes to mind, say so.
  6. What made it easier or harder to move the work forward during this period?
  7. What practical adjustment could be examined next, and what resources or decisions would it depend on?
  8. When and through what observation could the team review this adjustment?
